Aim of the CCT 2004 Peripheral
The peripheral vasculature, such as the legs, the neck and the
kidneys, are the principal targets for catheter intervention after the coronary
arteries.
With improvements in the quality of products and the accumulated
experience of operators, even cases that until now could only be revascularized
surgically, are increasingly indicated for IVR. Focusing on both diagnosis and
treatment for peripheral artery disease, this meeting will offer expert comment
from leaders in both Internal Medicine and Surgery, as well as turning the spotlight
on current obstacles and future goals for the field.
The inclusion of a Live Demonstration at this year's CCT is
further proof that the era of Peripheral Intervention has well and truly arrived.
