Letʼs Dive for Pearls of Wisdom in Complex PCI

The memory last year of our president of the live course Dr. Hideo Tamai giving the performance of his "life conducting CTO live" demonstrations is still fresh in our minds. In poor physical condition, it was pure force of will that enabled him to admirably and successfully perform three CTO- PCI cases and deliver a lecture on the history of CCT. He emphasized the importance of the antegrade approach and the importance of guidewire manipulation as basic procedures in CTO-PCI. This is the soul of CCT. Complex PCI of CTOs and LMT diseases are extensions of these fundamentals gained from PCI. By no means is CCT about only performing complex procedures.

We have new coronary course directors of CCT whose purpose here is to disseminate or transfer skills and knowhow to a new generation of physicians. With strategies backed by the fundamentals of the senior PCI masters and centering around their craft, and with our program that focuses on high quality live demonstrations by selected operators in the main live and master live theaters and that includes lectures from both domestic and international specialists, hands-on sessions, etc., it is our wish to promote the universal succession of our craft to the next generation.
