In CCT2019, CCT Structural Heart Diseases Course is planned on Friday, October 25.
We have planned a variety of sessions which cover the latest topics of SHD therapy and its current practice in Japan.

In the morning, we are going to have presentations and discussions on complex SHD treatments with expert panelists. We will pick up TAVI and MitraClip to hold active discussions between younger doctors and experts, as well as LAA Closure lectures comparing Japanese style and American style.
The session will followed by a lecture of “Valve-in-Valve TAVR” by Dr. Bernard Chevalier.
As the final session in the morning, a co-sponsored session on the pre-dilatation for TAVI by using balloon catheter is planned. Firstly, Dr. Masaomi Hayashi from Kokura Memorial Hospital will give a presentation on his experience on pre-dilation for TAVI. Then we will discuss safety and efficacy of the balloon catheter used in cases of pre-dilation for TAVI.

In the afternoon, we will hold interesting sessions such as “LAAO video live presentation recorded by GoPro” and “PCI after TAVI”.
We also prepare a Fireside Session of unusual complication cases. In this session, analyzing system is available so that attendees can join the discussion.
